I have interviewed three of Avila students to know if they think that our race is matter?

The first one is Ali Alyami who is an Avila student. He is a second year Radiological sciencesmajor. He said that he thinks that race matter. it is hard for him to live or marry people from differentrace.

The second one is Ali who is advertising Public Relationship major and first year an Avilastudent. He said that it does not matter which race you have. We all equal to each other .and peopleminds and thoughts need to be changed to treat every one equally.
The third one is Fires Al-Harbi a. He is a first year student. His major is Biology. He is an Avilastudent. He said that the race dose not matter. he likes the idea of kiosk and wishes if he could went toAvila and did his face with all of the 6 kinds of faces races

Racism

 Racism  

Our society has racism. Racism is something that we had since human were in earth.  Which was found millions years ago.  Human being have treated different race differently. It is something that will not change. Our society will not be free from it because it is what we live with and here about almost daily. Having more time will not be helpful or even change it. In the past people were treated depending to their skin color. The white people are the best. They live in best homes and treated well. Whites have school, more rights, more jobs, and heard voice. White people could change anything they did not like or wanted it to be change .black people were slave .they did not have any rights. They have to work for whites, with very low salary or no salary. Black people were not allowed for voting and they could not change anything. After years of slave time Blake people did not liked that and wanted everyone to hear their voice and let the world see how white people treat them. Black people decided that their voice need it to be heard and their rights have to be found, so the black people went out in the streets holding posts of what they want to change and scream with one voice for freedom.  Now black people have freedom, but white people still treat them badly which need to be change. Do you think race is matter?  

Does Race Matter?  

 It does not matter which race you have. It is because we are all human. We all have the right to live without being treated according to our race. We all need to know that race does not matter. It does not matter if you were black or white. It does not matter if you are Asian or African American. It does not matter what race that you are from, but you are who matter. Your personality, smile, and your open mind is what matter. Your education, and your knowledge is the matter. Just be who you are, and be proud of living in this world. Do not listen to any one who want to erase your happiness and your smile to sadness and cry. Do not listen to any one treat you different because of your race. We all equal to each other we all have mind to think of, and we are all living human.just smile to life and forget that you have different race than your friends. Do not be shame of your race. It is because your race shows who you are, where you from are and shows your great grandparents past. Be proud of your race and smile to any one treated you according to your race, to show them that you are better than them. To show them that you do not care of what they think about you. To show them that you are proud of your race and yourself.  

 Kiosk  

In the last week the school has machine that take your photo and make you see yourself in different race. I like the idea of kiosk. It is because Kiosk shows you how your face will be if you are from different race. I went to the Kiosk and took my photo and tried three of the six different races. I really enjoyed seeing myself in different race.my best photo was as white. I think that it shows me more beautiful my face, nose and my skin look better. The looked in the best shape, I looked like a model. Even though I liked my face in white race, I am happy of who I am and I am happy of the race that I belong to.  

  

Is it ever OK to cheat?

I read in the last Talon the 77th Issue on page 10 " Is it ok to cheat?" I enjoyed the reading very much . I liked how it was written. it is short reading with a lot of meaning . I did not like what Kesha said " When you know you touched the net but the ref did not catch it and gives us the point . I am not going to say anything" I think it is cheating and it is not good. I think cheating is cheating. if one played and did not say anything about the refs and one is cheating, and not great wining. I prefer losing the game but not wining in this way.

Oscars 

What is Oscar or 87 the academy award? 

Oscar or 87 Th academy awards or ceremony is to give the best people in different filed a word for special thing that they did in their field in the last year   which helped to improve our life. For examples  the award for best movie or best costume design.  Oscar is great idea because it let the people know who are the most successful persons in any filed or major. This ceremony presented by (AMPAS) Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Oscar ceremony is made yearly .the Oscar ceremony was on February 22, 2015. It took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.  

This Oscar ceremony was huge and big. Many people attend the ceremony. Many people, films, and others were giving the Oscar award for their great work in the last year 2014.  For example the best Directing  who is Wes Anderson (The grand Budapest Hotel ) ,the  best supporting actress  who is Meryl Streep (Into the Woods), and the best Adapted Screenplay who is Anthony McCarten (The Theory of  Everything ).The Oscar ceremony was on TV on BBC News it started around 8:00 pm. . Many people watched the Oscar ceremony in their homes. This year ceremony was great and award very special people and very special work.  

 

I have interviewed three of Avila students to know their Impression about the Oscar ceremony, and what they think about it  

                The first one is Ali Alyami who is an Avila student. He is a second year Radiological sciences major. He loved the Oscar ceremony, he said that he had watched it in his big HD TV. He was too excited to know the winning film. He said that his favorite actor Steve Carell (Fox catcher) wins the Oscar .he was glad and happy for his favorite actor winning in the ceremony. 

 The second one is Ali who is advertising Public Relationship major and first year an Avila student. He said that he like the Oscar because he is interested in knowing all the news about famous people and their work. He said he enjoyed his time watching the Oscar ceremony. He had watched all the Oscar ceremony from beginning to end. He said that he was happy because his favorite actress Felicity Jones (the Theory of Everything). He said that he watch anything that his favorite actress is acting on it.  

           The third one is Fires Al-Harbi a. He is a first year student. His major is Biology. He is an Avila student. He said that he liked how the Oscar ceremony was arranged. He was surprised of the number of people who went to the Oscar ceremony to watch it or to be award. He was interested in the Oscar ceremony and wished if he could go to watch it in live or to be a part or one of the people who were award in the Oscar ceremony. He will do his best to do special thing to be award in the Oscar ceremony.
