Is it ever OK to cheat?

I read in the last Talon the 77th Issue on page 10 " Is it ok to cheat?" I enjoyed the reading very much . I liked how it was written. it is short reading with a lot of meaning . I did not like what Kesha said " When you know you touched the net but the ref did not catch it and gives us the point . I am not going to say anything" I think it is cheating and it is not good. I think cheating is cheating. if one played and did not say anything about the refs and one is cheating, and not great wining. I prefer losing the game but not wining in this way.

What is Oscar or 87 the academy award? 

Oscar or 87 Th academy awards or ceremony is to give the best people in different filed a word for special thing that they did in their field in the last year   which helped to improve our life. For examples  the award for best movie or best costume design.  Oscar is great idea because it let the people know who are the most successful persons in any filed or major. This ceremony presented by (AMPAS) Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Oscar ceremony is made yearly .the Oscar ceremony was on February 22, 2015. It took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.  

This Oscar ceremony was huge and big. Many people attend the ceremony. Many people, films, and others were giving the Oscar award for their great work in the last year 2014.  For example the best Directing  who is Wes Anderson (The grand Budapest Hotel ) ,the  best supporting actress  who is Meryl Streep (Into the Woods), and the best Adapted Screenplay who is Anthony McCarten (The Theory of  Everything ).The Oscar ceremony was on TV on BBC News it started around 8:00 pm. . Many people watched the Oscar ceremony in their homes. This year ceremony was great and award very special people and very special work.  

 

I have interviewed three of Avila students to know their Impression about the Oscar ceremony, and what they think about it  

                The first one is Ali Alyami who is an Avila student. He is a second year Radiological sciences major. He loved the Oscar ceremony, he said that he had watched it in his big HD TV. He was too excited to know the winning film. He said that his favorite actor Steve Carell (Fox catcher) wins the Oscar .he was glad and happy for his favorite actor winning in the ceremony. 

 The second one is Ali who is advertising Public Relationship major and first year an Avila student. He said that he like the Oscar because he is interested in knowing all the news about famous people and their work. He said he enjoyed his time watching the Oscar ceremony. He had watched all the Oscar ceremony from beginning to end. He said that he was happy because his favorite actress Felicity Jones (the Theory of Everything). He said that he watch anything that his favorite actress is acting on it.  

           The third one is Fires Al-Harbi a. He is a first year student. His major is Biology. He is an Avila student. He said that he liked how the Oscar ceremony was arranged. He was surprised of the number of people who went to the Oscar ceremony to watch it or to be award. He was interested in the Oscar ceremony and wished if he could go to watch it in live or to be a part or one of the people who were award in the Oscar ceremony. He will do his best to do special thing to be award in the Oscar ceremony.

1) George Washington (1789-1797). he is The first President in  the United States of America . he is the top loved president. he set up the  democratic republic.
2) Abraham Lincoln (1861-1865) he has a good leadership skills during Civil War to preserve the Union. he ended slavery
3) Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809): he has  liberty leadership and set a peaceful transfer  of power among the opposing political groups.he is  a Democratic-Republican.
4) Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909): A Republican, He start Panama Canal construction . he was the first American to win Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating peace during Russian-Japanese War (1904-1905).
5) Franklin D Roosevelt (1933-1945) . he has a great leadership skills during the Great Depression (1929-1933) and World War II (1939-1945) . he had a big role in  the United Nations

My NBA All Star Game/Weekend Story (Feb 13-15),

 

My Dream 

            yesterday I had a dream . It was different than any dream . I saw my self watching NBA . It was strange because I do not know anything about it .In my dream I was the only audience. I saw the word NBA in flag hanging on the wall that faces me.. In my dream I saw two teams playing basketball. The teams were competing strongly. One of the winning team members was injured  so they asked me to play in his place. I was not sure at the beginning but from no where I saw Avila eagle telling me to do it. He wanted me to do it for Avila University.So I said yes, so the team leader gave me the team clothes and asked me to change my clothes. So I changed my clothes and  played in  the big playground              

I woke up from my dream and remembered my dream and the word NBA. I was curious to know more about it and about that game. So I searched online about it. I opened my internet on google webpage and typed NBA.When I clicked search , the first thing I saw chart that shows me the games, scores and the teams that played in last days. The second thing I saw the meaning of the word NBA. Finally I saw some related searches and images.         

  NBA means The National Basketball Association. NBA played from October to April. It is pre-eminent men's professional basketball league NBA played in North America . There is around 30  excellent  member clubs just one of them is in Canada. FIBA (International Basketball Federation) recognized NBA . It is one of the four major sports in professional sports leagues in North American . The league was founded in New York City in 1946, as the Basketball Association of America (BAA)  

 

NBA ticket prices in 2015 are as low as  $28.59  and as high as $212.21. the ticket prices  are depending on the seat place. NBA players are the highest paid players in sports. 

 

 I have interviewed three of Avila students to know their  Impression about the NBA , and what they think about NBA.  

  

The first one is Firas Al-Harbi a first year student. His major is Biology. He is an Avila student. He said that he love to watch NBA every year but he thinks that the NBA should use the same method MLB uses for the All-Star game to make it more competitive; winning conference has home court advantage in the NBA Finals.             

 The second one is Ali who is advertising Public Relationship major and first year an Avila student. He said that he is not a WEstbrook fan ( die-hard Spurs fan here) but in his  opinion Westbrook is the best player in the NBA right now. 

 

The third one is Ali Alyami who is an Avila student. He is a second year Radiological sciences major. He said that he liked the game and was emotionally with the game. He watched it on his TV .

      Grammy was established in 1957 wich is the recording academy and organization of musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers and recording professionals . it done to improve the quality of music . it is known as GRAMMY Awards internationally. The first Grammy award was in 1958. the first ceremony was in 1959. It is award that give to musical people for Outstanding achievements in the music industry.the ceremony is in the United States and Presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. many of famous musical artists and singer were invited to the ceremony. singer sing their famous music and compete between each other to win. different kinds of music was played such as pop, and rock music. it was a good party. 

Dierks Bentley, James Corden, Miley Cyrus, Josh Duhamel, Jamie Foxx, Barry Gibb, Dave Grohl, Jennifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, Nick Jonas, Anna Kendrick, Shia LaBeouf, Katharine McPhee, Nicki Minaj, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pentatonix, Smokey Robinson, Nile Rodgers, Gina Rodriguez, Ryan Seacrest, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, Keith Urban, The Weeknd, And Stevie Wonder . were Set To Present On The 57th GRAMMY Awards. LL COOL J is the Host  of Music's Biggest Night which was Airing Live On CBS, Feb. 8, 2015. 

        the ceremony was good and organized . I loved many of the songs that was played. it was my first time to watch this event . I was too nervous to know the winner in the ceremony .many of famous songs and albums won in the ceremony. I really love  listening to music and I hope to watch it again. there is an album that is available now in stores that I might buy.  2015 Grammy Nominees CD contains 21 songs.

                The first one is Ali Alyami who is  an Avila student. He is a second year Radiological sciences major.he  love the Grammy music,  he said that he have a play list in my car with Grammy Nominee albums going back to 2010. it is a fantastic play list and what a fantastic album this is. The part he love most is listening to a lot of different styles and being introduced to some songs he has not heard before.   

 The second one is Ali  who is  advertising Public Relationship major and first  year  an Avila student. he said that he did not like Grammy because he is not intersted in listinig to music . he said he wastes his time watching it . he just watched the first 15 minuts of it. 

           the third one is Firas Al-Harbi a  first year student. his major is Biology. He is  an Avila student. he said that he loves Grammy and he Buys their album every year.  he loves getting to know some of the songs that he doesn't typically listen to, he likes the country music.
